The journey of life

We have all been placed on this earth to discover our own path, and we will never be happy if we live someone else's idea of life.

I learned to walk when I was 1, 
Learned to read and write by the time I was 5, 
Understood the difference between good and bad when I was 15; 
Was an adolescent now..almost an adult.  
I was told that this is not it..there is much more to do in life. 

Singing and smiling I went up the ladder to join college and make new friends. 
Now I was told that this is college so things are gonna be a lot more different. So changed my mindset again to gel with them. 
And then came the whole interview season, search-for-job-time..I am asked to change my attitude and perception in order to "fit in the company and be a team member" 

Life keeps changing direction based on what other people think and say. Is it "my life" or my "life" that I am living based on what people say??
